COTSWORKS, a manufacturer of rugged optical elements including active and passive components, is pleased to announce it has added the SFP+10G-LR to its line of rugged pluggable optical transceivers. The MSA compliant SFP+10G-LR fiber optic transceiver supports data rates of 1 and 10G, has a duplex LC interface, and offers a parylene coated option for increased reliability. Operating at industrial temperatures with a link budget above industry standards, the COTSWORKS SFP+10G-LR enables rugged singlemode networking, allowing for the transmission of large amounts of data over great distances in extremely harsh environments. This transceiver is ideal for use in aerospace, industrial and military tactile environments.
