Transmitter Optical Sub-Assemblies
TOSAs are key components in COTSWORKS Transceivers. TOSAs convert electrical signals into optical signals then transmits it over optical fiber.
Each TOSA consists of laser diode, optional monitor diode, electrical leads into a hermetically sealed TO can with a glass window, a barrel with a lens,
and a fiber receptacle.
