Receiver Optical Sub-Assemblies
ROSAs are an essential component of a transceiver. ROSAs receive an optical signal transmitted by a TOSA, and convert the optical pulse to an electrical signal.
The COTSWORKS ROSA consists of PIN diode or APD, TIA, electrical leads in hermetically sealed TO can with a glass window, cap or “barrel” with a
lens that connects to the fiber ferrule.
