TO OUR COMMUNITY:
COTSWORKS’ is operating as normally as possible during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We have put into practice all the precautions and safety guidelines that the State of Ohio and the CDC have recommended as well as additional procedures that our teams have developed. Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Engineering, and Facilities are fully operational with employees who can work remotely successfully doing so. A 2-week shutdown plan is prepared in the event it is needed.
During the month of May, staff currently working remotely will come back into our factory and offices on a split shift or partial time. New rugged fiber optic product elements are being developed with a public product roadmap posted to our website. Web, phone, email, and virtual conferencing are available for communicating with all of COTSWORKS’ departments. We look forward to visiting customers and vendors in person as soon as we are able.
The company’s business focus is changing as we adapt to the evolving realities of the commercial aerospace market. Examples of changes include:
- Increasing capabilities and capacity to produce rugged fiber cables and fiber/copper hybrid solutions;
- Introducing new active and test products for Mil/Aero OEMs as well as for harsh environment Tele/Datacom solutions; and
- Sensing and sterilization solutions for large-area manufacturing.
We will persevere, we will innovate to create more value than before, and we will apply ourselves to help our customers and vendors succeed. Thank you for your interest and support of the wonderful COTSWORKS team.
