Ken Applebaum, CEO, and Founder of COTSWORKS, INC., will present 28Gbps Networking at SAE AS-3 Fiber Optics and Applied Photonics Committee on May 24th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The presentation is open to all attending SAE members and coincides with a new initiative from Navair for optical transceiver and component packaging requirements. Other vendors are presenting fiber cable and multi-pin initiatives. COTSWORKS will present the state of the industry on Multimode, Single Mode, and laser type. A demonstration of a link budget calculator with 25 and 28Gbps specific limitations to link lengths will be shown as well as suggested guidelines for designing aircraft networks in this generation of data networking.
